A proud U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, Mr. Monson’s stated mission is to find and create opportunities that make the world a better place for our nation’s heroes. This was the impetus behind his launch of Patriot Courage Consulting in 2021. He leverages his extensive entrepreneurial experience to provide business owners with consulting services and direct operational leadership to foster rapid, sustainable growth for early-stage companies.
Mr. Monson established a mission-driven consulting firm that provides scalable services to support U.S. military veterans and minority clients through strategic planning, development, and the go-to-market launch of successful businesses.
Throughout his career he has:
- Championed end-to-end research and development (R&D) for startup manufacturing and construction companies, from initial relationship building and legal negotiations to market analysis and lead generation/qualification.
- Composed proposals and bids for government, commercial, and private-sector contracts, evaluating RFPs to gather project requirements and determine appropriate compensation for services offered.
- Provided funding and strategic/operational leadership for client companies, liaising between executive leaders, project teams, and customers to ensure all services are executed on time, on budget, and within scope.
- Managed recruitment and onboarding of new hires, providing professional development and learning opportunities.
- Orchestrated successful launch of five companies to date. Retained stock in each venture to facilitate ongoing strategic influence with executive leadership and project teams.
- Provided sustainable employment to U.S. military veterans, complete with competitive pay and benefits.
